De lijst met genomineerden voor de 18de "Premio Lo Nuestro a la Musica Latina" zijn bekend gemaakt tijdens een live show op univision. Zoals steeds bestaat de lijst uit de top van de Latin artiesten. "Premio Lo Nuestro a la Musica Latina" zal live uitgezonden worden door Univision donderdag 23 februari, vanuit de American Airlines Arena in Miami.

Het bachata duo uit de Dominicaanse Republiek, Monchy y Alexandra is genomineerd in maar liefst 5 categorieën. Zoals "Album of the Year," "Best Group or Duo," "Song of the Year," en "Artist of the Year." Volgende artiesten hebben 4 nominaties: Colombiaanse singer/songwriter: Shakira, de Mexicaanse groep: Conjunto Primavera, Italiaanse popster: Laura Pausini , "Woman of Fire" uit Puerto Rico: Olga Tanon, Intocable, Colombiaans rocker Juanes, de Mexicaanse groep: K-Paz de la Sierra, Reggaeton ster: Daddy Yankee en de pop sensatie uit Puerto Rico: Luis Fonsi.

Door in te loggen voor 8 january kan je een stem uitbrengen. op de website van Univision zal ook heel wat info verschijnen over de artiesten, videoclips van de genomineerden en heel veel meer.
